A catch-all email mailbox receives messages sent to inactive addresses under the exact same domain. For instance, an email message sent to the misspelled suport@domain.com will go to support@domain.com if the catch-all feature has been enabled for the latter. In this way, you can get email messages from pals or customers who may have sent a message to your email address with a spelling error or to an obsolete one, which they may still have, but you have already disabled. Just one single mailbox per domain can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be activated for such a mailbox. This is so because of the fact that at a certain moment you may start receiving spam email messages in the catch-all mailbox and the forwarding restriction implies that the spam will not be received in a third-party mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Shared Web Hosting

Configuring a catch-all e-mailbox will be remarkably easy in case you have a shared web hosting with our company. You can enable this feature through our advanced, yet easy-to-work-with Email Manager, which is included in the Hepsia hosting Control Panel, via which you will manage your account. You’ll see all the email addresses that you’ve created shown in alphabetical order and on the right side of each one there will be a small "Catch-all" icon, which will instantaneously show you whether a specific mailbox receives all the emails pertaining to a certain domain name or not. With one click on the icon you can activate or deactivate the feature whenever you want. In case there’s active email forwarding or in case another mailbox has already been configured as a catch-all one for a particular domain, you will get a warning notification from our system. The latter won’t disable/replace anything automatically and without your approval.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Hosting

The custom Hepsia Control Panel that comes with every semi-dedicated server plan that we offer will allow you to set up a catch-all email mailbox without difficulty even in case you do not have much email/web hosting experience. All it takes to do that is to click the catch-all icon, which will be on the right side of each email address that you have created with your domain names in the Email Manager section of the hosting Control Panel. Since you can have just one mailbox with this feature per domain, our system will inform you if you have already set up a different catch-all mailbox or if the one that you want to use has email forwarding activated. If you reach the decision that you do not want the feature any longer, you can remove it by clicking once again on the very same icon. The Email Manager will also allow you to see your catch-all mailboxes at a glance.
